MECA & Technology Machine
MECA of Green Bay was initially located in a 6,000 sq. ft. building in the Ashwaubenon Industrial Park on the west side of Green Bay, WI. Our growth during the 1980's resulted in a need for expansion, so we decided to design and build a facility specifically tailored for our manufacturing business.
In February 1995, MECA moved to its present location at
1281 Parkview Road. Growth in the late 1990's resulted in the expansion of our
then current building from 16,000 sq. ft. to 28,000 sq. ft. Then, in
2006,
future growth resulted in another expansion to our current size of 42,000 sq.
ft.
This facility houses both our administrative offices, machine shop, and flexographic sleeve manufacturing shop. Our state of the art machine shop includes CNC lathes, CNC vertical machine center, CNC gear hobber, surface ID and OD grinders. We also have a dedicated welding work center consisting of a welding pit, turntable, and wire and stick welding capabilities.
In addition to the MECA facility housing our administrative office and machine shop, this facility also houses our state of the art manufacturing plant for composite sleeves for the Flexographic Industry. This climate controlled 10,000 sq. ft. plant is designed as a Lean Manufacturing "Cell" to insure the delivery of quality sleeve products within a (2) week lead-time.
